Let’s open up the conversation about men’s mental health.

In many BAMe communities, there exists a cultural expectation for men to embody the role of family head, protector, and provider. Unfortunately, this can create a stigma around expressing emotions openly, with crying or sharing feelings often seen as a sign of weakness.

As a result, many men internalize their emotions, leading to concerning outcomes such as higher rates of completed suicide, increased reliance on maladaptive coping mechanisms like alcohol or substance abuse, absentee parenting, and domestic violence.

At MBS, we offer a safe space with professionals who prioritize confidentiality.

Let’s break the silence and talk. Join us in starting this important conversation about men’s mental health.
